Enjoy beautiful views of the majestic forest and experience the visiting wildlife; parrots, Bush turkeys, nesting Lyrebirds and the resident wallaby and her joey. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views on the wrap around verandah, play some tennis, stroll to Crystal pool for a refreshing dip in the river or explore some of the beautiful walking trails through the majestic forest. This is a very special place.

The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Our historic Cottage has stood graciously on the banks of the Barrington River since the 1880s. Scenic countryside is at your doorstep: enjoy a rambling walk and splash in the river. Gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage set in a vineyard with beautiful park like grounds and panoramic views. Set on 250 acres, there is plenty of room to explore. Unwind and relax - entertain on the patio overlooking the vines, take a dip in the plunge pool and enjoy the peaceful countryside while only 10 minutes from Gloucester village. Located 3.5 hours from Sydney and a beautiful 30 minute drive East of Scone, this cottage is the perfect weekend getaway. Cherson can be booked per room upon request.
