Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

"La casetta nel bosco" è un ambiente immerso nel verde dei castagni e dei tigli, per "ascoltare la natura che parla" ma anche la musica (casse acustiche in ogni piano, anche all'aperto) e lasciarsi cullare da momenti di vita lenta, semplice, autentica. Si trova in un piccolo villaggio alpino da cui si parte per raggiungere altri villaggi e località, a piedi e in auto. “La Casa dell’Arco” prende il nome dall’arco di ingresso, elemento tipico dell’architettura di Frassinetto, che caratterizza questa abitazione storica. Il suo nucleo più antico risale presumibilmente al XIII – XIV secolo. L’unità è composta da tre ambienti curati nel dettaglio per riscoprire la calda atmosfera delle case alpine. L’ambiente soggiorno con un divano/letto e camino precede la cucina ed a completare una splendida camera dotata di doccia e un bagno confortevole e attrezzato.
