Ferrette being very close to both Switzerland and Germany, you can tour the Wine Road in Alsace, the Bade-Wurtemberg and the Basel area.  The surroundings of the gîte “Sud-Alsace” and possible outings The gîte is both bright and spacious. From each window you will admire the magnificent views of Ferrette’s castle and the lush nearby forest of the Alsatian Jura region. Explore the breath-taking surroundings from this peaceful country house. Wilderswil is at the entrance of the valley that leads to the famous Alps: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau: The Top of Europe. From the apartment you have direct views on these mountains. The new Eiger Express is 25 min by train from Wilderswil Station which also offers a cogwheel train up to the Schynige Platte and a 3 min connection to Interlaken. The area offers many walking paths and hiking tracks, starting from the house.
