Centrally located in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains and easy drives to Asheville 90 minutes, Charlotte 75 minutes, Blowing Rock 40 minutes, 65 minutes to Grandfather Mountain State Park and 80 minutes to Sugar Mountain ski resort. There are numerous hiking trails and waterfalls. Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain offer skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. There is exceptional mountain biking as close as 8 miles from the house. Zip lines and other attractions near by.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. Our town is a sort of traffic nucleus, with Charlotte approximately 1 hour to the east, Asheville less than 1 hour to the west, and Lenoir heading to Boone 20 minutes to the north.
