Westwood cottage in garden setting

This 400 sq. ft. guesthouse (studio) on a historic property in Westwood, KS has recently been fully renovated and furnished. It has a completely equipped kitchenette, comfortable living area, along with a queen-size bed. The guesthouse also includes a washer/dryer off the kitchenette. The guesthouse is a separate dwelling located on a half an acre property which includes the original farmhouse built in 1889 - the guesthouse added in 1920. Westwood, Kansas is 2 miles from the Country Club Plaza.

The Cottage

The Cottage, with a studio style layout, is a bright and clean space just one mile from historic downtown lees summit with local shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the two acre landscaped yard and enjoy a delicious s’more at the outdoor fire pit!

Enjoy Southern OP in this quiet neighborhood. Our studio guesthouse, completely separated from the main house, has a full kitchen, TV, a new a/c/heater, and google fiber internet. In case you get lonely, we have 2 friendly dogs always looking for attention. We are about 45 minutes away from the Kansas City airport, Kauffman Stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, the KU main campus. Full size kitchen. In ground salt water pool (in season), Hot tub outside. Fire pit, with wood and roasting sticks furnished. Murphy Bed in living room. Lots of outdoor seating on patio with tables. Games and cards in bedroom closet. Stocked kitchen with spices- blender-instant pot-crock pot-toaster. 30 minutes from Downtown KC and 20 minutes from Kauffman Stadium. A wonderful family place, not a party place.
