A unique and tranquil getaway. Come stay at this fish and wildlife themed cabin in the woods. There are antique firearms, fishing items and outdoor photos that we’ve taken. Enjoy the deck while eating dinner and watching the patio TV or enjoying your morning coffee around the fire pit. If the weather happens to be bad, no worries. Guests will have access to over 400 acres of private property to hike, explore, or view the local wildlife.

Bigfoot Inn -cabin with loft -near Illinois River

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

A-Frame Cabin on the river

Modern, brand new a-frame cabin on the river. Overlooks the peaceful Illinois river. Watch the floaters go by from the comfort of your deck. The cabin is luxurious with all the modern amenities, hot tub professionally maintained, fast wifi and Roku TV. This is the perfect place to sneak away with a loved one for a long weekend on the river. By day you watch the constant stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks.

Cozy Country Cottage

This cozy cottage is set on five acres of scenic countryside just north-east of Tulsa. I designed and built this 480 square foot home for myself and lived in it happily for five years. But, now I’ve moved on to my next project and I’m eager to share this cottage with my guests! The house gets beautiful light, has a very comfortable bed, and is ideal for single travelers and couples. Take a soak in the tub after a long day on the road and feel your cares melt away. Stay a while, relax.
