Beautiful views of the surrounding area and friendly locals to offer advice and great food if you choose to eat at their venues. This place is a gem and just a short drive from Melbourne.

Avenel is a great launching pad for all that the Strathbogie region has to offer - art, history, wine and some fabulous restaurants.

Located in a native garden with fruit trees and veggie garden, within 10 minutes drive to Bendigo. Relax by the firepit and enjoy a BBQ and beer or walk over the road to Farmers Arms Hotel for a meal. We have ample room for a large vehicle, truck or trailer. The O'Keefe Rail Trail for hiking and mountain biking is a 2-minute ride. Close to Heathcote wineries and the attractions of Central Victoria.
