It’s an easy 11 mile drive to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, or the Blue Ridge Parkway; 20 miles to Cataloochee Ski Lodge & just west of the amazing Biltmore House in Asheville. Canton was recently featured in “Our State” Magazine for the revived down town area. We love the small town atmosphere, location & believe you will too. Located in the Cruso community of Canton, NC, Ponderosa is centrally located to everything Western, NC has to offer. Steps from the East Fork of the Pigeon River, with close proximity to the Blue Ride Parkway, this stunning oasis is near some of the best hiking trails in the area. A 35 minute drive to Asheville & a 15 minute drive to Waynesville, you'll find many craft vendors, breweries, artists, & restaurants conveniently close by. Springdale Resort (golf course) is located just 3 miles away.

Come stay in our cozy studio apartment, where you can enjoy privacy and comfort. Beautiful Lake Junaluska can be seen after a 5 minute walk. The apartment includes an incredibly soft, custom-made bed (gel memory foam topper; king width, twin length), a night stand, a vintage dresser and two closets, an expandable table for eating or working, two chairs, and a kitchenette. The attached private bathroom completes the space. Maximum occupancy is 2. TWO NIGHT MINIMUM. NO SMOKING. NO PETS.

The Guest Tower: Amazing Mountain and Valley Views

Stay at our private guest tower with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths with access through the front deck. The guest tower can sleep up to 6 , there is a pull-out queen size sofa bed in the top living room, the master bed is a full size bed. The current Airbnb description list does not have a full size bed listed as a choice. Nearby attractions: less than a mile away to the cataloochee-ski-area, 30 minute drive to Asheville, Jonathan Creek trout fishing down the hill, close to the blue ridge parkway.

Welcome to Windcrest Loft! If you’re looking for a homey place to stay while visiting the mountains, this is it! Kids and pets are welcome too. Centrally located, within minutes to shops and restaurants in Dillsboro and Sylva, 10 mins to WCU and 20 to Franklin, Bryson City & Waynesville. No hidden cleaning fee. Unique and tranquil getaway on 5 acres. One bedroom with queen bed but double pullout sofa with memory foam topper in living room for 2 more guests if needed ($20 /person/night). Cottage also has refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot ,sink, dishes, microwave and kitchen table and chairs. No stove. Hardwood floors throughout. Roughly 5 miles to touristy Waynesville, 10 miles to Maggie Valley and approx. 10 miles to beautiful Blue Ridge Park

The Pottery Cabin

The Cottage @ Nelson's Nest is a small cottage that offers privacy and a cozy atmosphere on our small farm. We are located just off I-40 exit 31 in Canton. Our town is a historical milltown with easy access to Asheville, Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, and Tennessee. While you are here you can enjoy beautiful mountain views and our goats, llama and chickens roaming through the pasture. We would love to share our cottage with you.
