One spacious bedroom with wall mounted television and a contemporary walk in shower, we provide towels/dressing gowns for your convenience. There is a secure fenced decking area for alfresco dining.

Just 7 minutes from m5 jcn 29 and Exeter airport or a 12 minute walk from Whimple train station. Exeter has great tourist facilities and restaurants. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor only. Please don’t plan on leaving your dog alone.

Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

The property is adjacent to Aylesbeare Common, a wildlife haven offering ample hiking trails and only a 15 minute drive to the seaside town of Sidmouth or 20 minutes from Exmouth. Exeter is 30 minutes by car.

And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

It has king size and double ensuite bedrooms and a superking or twin ensuite room. There are internet TVs in each bedroom and the lounge with Amazon Prime, Disney + and good Wifi.
