Enjoy the friendly farm animals or venture out to quaint shops, eateries, and bays in Poulsbo just 5 minutes away. 60 acres of wooded trails next door are perfect for walks, frisbee golf, or horse back riding. Located just a short drive from ferries and the Olympic Peninsula.

The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

Downtown Seattle is 26 miles away (times very). Snoqualmie skiing is 50 mins away & Crystal Mountain is 69 mins away.

Our unique cottage resort is situated right on the water's edge. Cottage #1 is the easternmost of three attached units. The hot tub is outside of Cottage #1 and is shared among all three units.
