Die Paterwohnung in Kaltern, im Ortsteil Oberplanitzing gelegen, ist ein historisches Gebäude und der ehemals südlichste Stützpunkt des Klosters Tegernsee. Im ersten Stock gelegen, finden sich in der Paterwohnung noch heute architektonische Hinweise, wie etwa die barocke Kasettendecke mit dem Schutzheiligen des Tegernsees, St. Quirinus. Alte Holztüren, knarrende Böden und Stuckaturen an den Wänden sorgen für historisches Flair, während das neue Bad und die Einrichtung für Komfort sorgt.
