Outdoor activity includes hammocks, swimming, boating (canoe, kayaks, john boat). For fishing we have boats, nets & fish-dressing station (bring poles & bait). About 13 miles from Palmyra and Monroe, nearest gas and groceries.

O’s Barn Cabin - Small Town Livin'!

O’s Barn Cabin offers a simple and unique way of relaxing in rustic fashion! Our pet friendly tiny home is 532 sq. ft of open space and country character. The location is out of the city, yet just a couple miles from all of the stores you need. The little cabin is nestled down our shared private and peaceful driveway, with views of cattle grazing in the pasture right off the front porch at the right time of year. Our big screen projector and fire pit are two amenities you'll be sure to enjoy!

Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the lake, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

This charming ground level unit features a luxurious king size bed that will give you the restful sleep you deserve. The new bathroom is furnished with modern amenities, and the large living room provides ample space to relax and unwind. The full kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, and is equipped with everything you may need.

Enjoy a private peaceful setting that is Conveniently located. Large fenced in yard for the kids and/or pets. Also has a 4 person hotub which is available year-round. The house is fully stocked for convenience. The house also has covered parking, outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill a play place for the kids and more. You will be within walking distance of 2 National Landmarks (Mark Twain Cave, Cameron Cave) as well as our Winery and Giftshop. Located just two miles from Hannibal's Historic District.

Why not hide away at Woodland Fox? Fall is the best season to get away at our peaceful 20 acres just 3 miles off hwy 63. Guest suite is ideal for multiple guests with 4 beds & 2 full baths. To offset “no cleaning fee” $10 per guest per night is added for 4th guest and more. In any case, you’ll have the entire lower-level to yourselves —-to enjoy the comforts of home.
