This peaceful home is ready for you to kick back and relax before an electric fireplace and open living area. Enjoy the local attractions and beyond. Centrally located, you will be only minutes from the highway, super stores, several restaurants, and only a 15 minute drive to both Seattle Ferry terminals taking you Down Town or to West Seattle. There are several golf courses locally, a disc golf and park walking distance, and Bremerton Navy base is a 15 minute drive. Rest up and be our guest =)

Enjoy the scenic Olympic Mountains from the deck, or watch the tall ships engage in mock cannon battles. Bremerton Naval Shipyard provides a backdrop with the Pacific Fleet docked across the bay. Have your own boat? Moor at beautiful Port Orchard Marina only a 5 minute walkaway. A fast ferry to Seattle- no need for a car. Watch the sun set over the Olympics, go for a scenic drive to Hood Canal, or just relax and enjoy a bottle of wine from the deck.Go for a stroll along the waterfront boardwalk.

SOUND VIEWS

Enjoy the beautiful views of Puget Sound, Blake Island, Mt. Rainier and downtown Seattle from one of two decks off of the main floor. In cooler weather, the front sun deck is the perfect spot for happy hour or just relaxing. Take a short walk down the hill to visit the hamlet of Manchester. There's a public beach, outdoor pub, and other amenities available. The Southworth ferry will take you to West Seattle. Scheduled for Spring 2021, a "fast foot" ferry with service to downtown Seattle.

Dotty’s Place Downtown is a unique 1910 all refurbished large studio apartment. Private entrance with views of the Sinclair Inlet. One block from downtown Port Orchard, two blocks from the foot ferry to Bremerton & Seattle. Dotty’s is conveniently located to restaurants, bars, shopping and the waterfront Marina. We are up on a hill overlooking Sinclair Inlet and the majestic Olympic Mountains. We are downtown Port Orchard, so restaurants and a myriad of cute shops are just steps away, as is the lovely waterfront. You'll have the house to yourself to relax in the serenity you deserve.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Lake House Retreat Kid & Dog Friendly

Updates: new grill and new solid doors for added privacy and sound proofing. This is a place where stress melts away the moment you step inside. Wake up to misty lake views, sip coffee on the deck as eagles soar, and soak in the hot tub under the stars.
