Ocean View is a modern well equipped house situated on 4 acres of rain forest, minutes walk from the beautiful surf beach at Eaglehawk Neck and the Tessellated Pavement. Stunning ocean and bush views, and a comfortable and peaceful environment ensure a relaxing stay. Tasman Council rules mean that we can accommodate a strict maximum of 4 guests at any one time. Infants are free but count as a guest. Please don’t book for four guests and then message requesting to have additional guests stay.

Our property is situated above the Lufra Hotel, Restaurant and Bar, and is a mere 5 minute walk to both Pirates Bay Beach and Tessellated Pavement. The popular tourist attractions of The Blowhole, Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen are an 8 minute drive away. The Port Arthur Historic Site is a 20 minute drive south.

Winkle Shack - waterfront, wood fire, outdoor bath

In Tasmania, a shack can be anything from a corrugated iron lean-to, to an architect designed home. Our place falls somewhere in between, but we reckon it’s one of the best shacks in Tassie. In a sheltered, waterfront spot, it’s a classic little vertical board place built by a family in the 1960s as a get away from Hobart that we've kept improving over the years. This is our family get away, the place that our kids have grown up and memories built.
