Good bike riding around Lake Preston five minutes from the cottage, and a shady park with tennis court/basket ball hoop and free bbq 2 mins walk away

Serpentine-y is nestled in the picturesque and serene Serpentine hills. 1hr from Perth, this boutique equestrian farm is an ideal escape. The farm backs onto the Serpentine National Park and is a short walk from Serpentine Falls and Munda Biddi trails. It’s perfect for couples seeking peace and quiet, or a romantic getaway. Across the farmland often has cattle or horses grazing. Follow the zig-zag path leading to the jetty. Tie up your own boat if you have one or launch a kayak and explore downstream. Restaurants shops and cafes are nearby. The property has a security camera in the car park.

Escape to our cozy studio, a quiet hideaway set among the hills. Accessed via a gravel road, you will be surrounded by native trees and wildlife. With no WI-FI this retreat offers a genuine chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. The retreat is located 50 minutes from Perth Airport. We live in the adjoining house on the property, so help is nearby if needed, while your accommodation remains private and self-contained. There is still 5G reception available at the suite.

The Little Wren Farm, Lake Clifton

The Little Wren Farm is close to the Forest Highway and about 30 minutes from Mandurah. It is set among Peppermint forests and Tuart trees and has a variety of birds from Black Cockatoos to the adorable little Blue Wren. The parrots come in to feed throughout the day and Kangaroos are often seen grazing a few meters from the homestead. The Little Wren Farm is good for couples and business travellers and is a peaceful, quiet little gem in the country. The sleeper couch can sleep 2 children.

When you stay at Magnolia Cottage, Dwellingup you will find a Mid-Century cottage which retains its rustic charm but has been revitalized and extended with a huge kitchen, large outdoor covered entertainment area, renovated modern bathroom, and 2 toilets. Your baseline booking provides for 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6. The 4th King Bedroom is available UPON REQUEST, for an additional booking fee, providing for up to 8 guests. Wood fire and electric blankets for cosy winter nights.

Dawesville Character cottage south of Mandurah

Our character cottage along side our home is yours to enjoy, close to the Estuary, just a 2 minute walk, where you will often see Dolphins. You’ll love our rustic cottage because the location is very peaceful with many trees & birdlife. Pushbikes available to use for a ride along the estuary front. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers or anyone wanting a relaxing rustic break on the way south. Fully self contained, ideal long or short stays.
