We offer 5 beautiful, private and quiet acres of forest in Cedar Mountain. The cabin is just 1.5 miles from the entrance of Dupont Forest. Enjoy everything Western NC has to offer from this spacious, private, and comfortable log cabin home. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming and waterfalls are all available in the adjacent Dupont State Forest. The cabin is 15 minutes from Pisgah National Forest and 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Brevard. AS OF 2025 there is high speed Wifi (Starlink), and as a result great cell service. AND THERE IS NO LONGER A CARETAKER ON THE PROPERTY so guests have the whole property to themselves.

Our home in Pisgah Forest is in the land of waterfalls. The apartment has a full kitchen, large shower and a fire pit on the deck for your enjoyment This area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, music lovers, hikers and cyclists. If you are planning to visit our state and national parks, please check to see which trails are open. Downtown Brevard is a quaint mountain town with unique shops, a variety of restaurants and art galleries and is just 15 from the apartment.

Treetop Cabin

The cabin is centrally located among world class hiking, biking, and breweries. There are virtually no mosquitoes, and our microclimate makes this area significantly cooler than Asheville. There’s a ton of cool stuff to check out, and a clean, contemporary space to come home to. The cabin was a former artists’ retreat, it has an open floor plan, high ceilings, crisp AC, and Netflix. Stock up on fresh, local beer, produce and moonshine and make some memories :)

Cedar Springs

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space located minutes away from DuPont Forest and the Mountain Bridge Wilderness. Enjoy listening to the birds and eating your meals on the all-seasons porch. Walk down to the Little River. Drive five minutes to the charming crossroads of Cedar Mountain and less than 9 miles to downtown Brevard or to "Pretty Place." Prepare fresh produce bought at the Whistlestop in the abundantly supplied kitchen.

You will really appreciate the secluded nature of this home and the privacy you will enjoy. We are situated at the end of a private road where it is very quiet and peaceful. (It also happens to have some stellar views). We are minutes from Downtown Brevard, and 30 min away from Asheville; in the heart of some of the best mountain biking and hiking on the East coast (plus we are close to some great Breweries.
