At the end of a day out in the mountains, leave gear in the ski room and stretch out in front of the fireplace and TV or soak tired muscles in the outdoor hot tub while enjoying views of the snow-capped peaks. If you need to catch up on emails, there’s an office and Wi-Fi access. And if you’ll be visiting during warmer weather or don’t mind braving the cold, the terrace also has a barbecue. The chalet has more than 3,000 square feet of living space, nearly all of it infused with traditional Alpine style, from wood panels to stone accents. At the heart of this luxury property is an open-concept great room with a living area tucked around a fireplace, a dining table with seating for eight and an adjacent kitchen that is fully equipped. Chalet Wolgan has four bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms, including one with its own private balcony. There are also two bedrooms with two twin bunk beds each, which share a bathroom. Like the great room, the bedrooms are sublimely inviting, with rustic wood paneling and details like plush fur cushions on the beds. If you’ve come to ski, you’ll find La Princesse lift a short drive away, making it easy to reach the slopes for the first or last run of the day.
