Centrally located you can be in Marion or Carbondale within 15 minutes. Other attractions are our wineries, one is 1 1/2 miles away, others are a short 10-15 minute drive. Owls Nest has it all

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Everything you would want or need is there. Washer & Dryer, all cooking needs as well as dishes to include wine glasses and a couple bottles of Christmas Cheer! What a great place to stay while not on a cot at grandmas. Plenty of yard and even a Bocce Ball Court with the balls. Everyone will love the gas fireplace perfect for a cozy cup of eggnog and a throw. WiFi and TV services are excellent. The Scout Cabin-Carterville, IL

The Scout Cabin was originally part of a group cabins from the early 1900s. Over the years, different owners have made additions and updates, but it still has some of its original structure. Now it is a cozy two bedroom house with an open living and dining area, a bonus area with an additional sleeper loveseat, and a spacious patio. It is centrally located - just one block from the center of Carterville’s downtown - and easily accessible to many Southern Illinois activities and attractions.

Four friends have joined forces to create this cozy space for you to feel right at home in. We've made the space fun, with each bedroom having a unique theme. Our coffee bar also offers a variety of mugs, so each person can pick their favorite. We had your comfort in mind when we selected new queen mattresses, soft bedding, and plush towels. The couch and extra seating are very comfy. For our likeminded germaphobe friends, we chose light bedding to ensure utmost cleanliness.
