Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Nestled in Genoa Bay is the relaxing Peace Garden Oceanfront Guest Retreat. The jewel in the crown of this luxurious master suite is its awe inspiring view across the bay. Watch birds and marine wildlife during your morning coffee on your private outdoor deck. Relax pierside or beachcomb for treasures on the small rock beach. A secluded oasis of West Coast tranquility. Our pair of rustic cabins are perfect for those looking to unplug and immerse themselves in nature (no WiFi). Nestled above the Sooke basin, you can take in the stunning views from our spacious balcony or from our cozy bed. Our sunsets are not to be missed! The main cabin features a new queen bed, a spacious work desk, and a cozy loft bed with a reading nook. The second cabin includes the kitchen, dining area, incinerator toilet, and shower.

Our comfortable one bedroom suite has everything you need to relax, and experience the beauty of vancouver island, with the ocean and a forest hike within walking distance. This is a family friendly space with televisions in the bedroom and living room, board games, bluetooth stereo and a dedicated work station. There are numerous wineries close by, noteably cherry point estates two minutes down the road. The suite does not share any of our spaces and includes dedicated laundry.

Welcome to Maple Bay Carriage House, a loft style bachelor suite, equipped with premium amenities and high end finishes. We are within walking distance to Maple Bay Marina, Gulf Island Seaplanes and Maple Bay Yacht Club. We’re less than 5 minutes from Bird’s Eye Cove Farm, public beaches, hiking and mountain biking trails, kayak rentals, pubs and so much more. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, heated bathroom floor and two very comfortable queen size beds to choose from.

The area hosts a plethora of bird life from hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, herons, eagles and trumpeter swans to name a few!

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.
