Here you and your companion(s) can experience the quiet and relaxing life on a farm with plenty of adventure awaiting just around the bend. Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. Or try out locally owned businesses just 6.5 miles drive to Dexter such as Hickory Log and Dexter BBQ!

Step outside in the morning onto the wraparound deck with a cup of coffee and listen and enjoy nature. Take a hike on the paths, roast marshmallows, make s’mores and hotdogs by the large fire pit, and many more things out in nature. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from the city or a night to rest on your way to wherever. Our cabin is also very unique with 3 full hookup campsites.

Don't let the space fool you, the uniquely curved walls give ample space for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time with friends. The clear dome top provides a magical viewing experience from the queen size bed. The yurt is nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The expansive, romantically lighted, wrap-around deck provides a panoramic view of the St. Francis River where you can immerse yourself in the hot tub.

Enjoy a comfortable stay at this unique lakeside retreat. This home offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Start your day with coffee and a view of the lake. You’ll stay a short drive from several surrounding conservation sites. Bring your fishing pole and kayak! End your day relaxing by the fire pit and watching the sunset on the lake. We now offer event rentals for elopements, small wedding receptions, and small family reunions up to 18 people for an additional fee (message for details).

The Happy Camper - Glamping & Black River floating

A great place to unplug and get away from it all! The Happy Camper includes a covered outdoor kitchen area, a firepit and additional beds in the adjacent cabin. The location is located nearby numerous outdoor gems including the Black River, Taum Sauk, Mountain , Sam Baker State Park, the Ozark Trail and mountain biking areas. The property has a year-round creek flowing through it to enjoy and explore. The adjacent "Cabin on the Creek" is also available to rent if you need more space.

A partition wall creates intimate spaces w/in this large (950 sq.ft.) open floor plan. Highlights: king size bed, corner claw tub, rainfall shower, reading area, 65" TV, large deck,BBQ grill and WIFI.

Rustic Tiny Home

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This sweet little accommodation is rustic on the inside and nestled in the Missouri Southeast close to the historic Sam A. Baker State Park. Two full hook up RV sites are on either side of the tiny home, allowing for camping of family or friends. Your host is close by in a home next door allowing us to quickly meet needs that may surface during your stay. The unit does have a washer/dryer as well. Note: RV rental is separate.
