SR Longhorns Parlor

SR Longhorn Parlor is a retired milking parlor. It sleeps 4 comfortably but up to 6. Our 82 acre working ranch is 5 miles from downtown Burns. A quiet place to decompress, hike, bird watch or bike ride. Marshall Ln. is a bumpy 1 mile dirt road that is used by 4 other families. Go slow and keep to your left. If you come across opposing traffic keep right and park (they’ll go around you). Ask us about add on services. We are full time on premises & here to help you customize your stay.

High Desert Hideaway

Pets allowed inside if potty trained. Just a 5.3 miles from town. It is on the south side of Highway 20 east of Burns, you must go past Red Barn Road. There is red reflectors to help find the driveway at night. It’s a on a pivot that with permission and caution about buildings, pivot, equipment and the highway you may shoot ground squirrels and jack rabbits! There is a corral for horses and a kennel for dogs. It is centrally located for horse activities like cuttings, brandings.

The Hanley House

The Hanley House is a home we worked hard to make comfortable and feel like coming home. With its bright natural light and neutral tones you’ll feel right at home upon arrival. With everything new you won’t need to worry about low water pressure or squeaky floors. With all new beds and high quality linens, you’re sure to have a great night sleep. Netflix and Disney+ are available on demand and good WiFi will keep you connected. We made this old “mill house” feel like new again!

The Cawlfield House (Circa 1929)

The historic Cawlfield House was built by my grandfather in 1929. It has been beautifully restored with modern amenities and comforts. It has an updated Kitchen, Living, Dining, Bath, Office & two Bedrooms (1 plush queen bed down, 1 plush queen bed up & 1 trundle bed). Many of the furnishings came from Joanna Gaines collections. We've sincerely strived to consider your needs, including A/C. We'd love to host you! We are confident you'll enjoy the homes comforts and history!

This cozy two bedroom home was remodeled in early 2023 and has lots of amenities to offer. Its a great option for extended stays or a quick weekend getaway and sleeps up to four people. Pets are welcome and will be safely contained in the fully fenced yard. Come enjoy Harney County beauty and experience the Sandhill Suite!

Behind main house & completely independent, including your covered carport parking and entrance.

This tiny house/studio offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit. Welcome to the Mickel House! This cute house is located just blocks away from a cute park. It’s also a few miles from Burns where there is a good selection of restaurants and shopping. We are close to the Steens Mountains, Malhuer Wildlife refuge and so much more! Harney County is the best place to bird watch in the spring, with over 300 different species of birds migrating through!
