The Carriage House is attached to the owner-occupied house by a shared wrap-around porch. As you'll see from the pictures, we are up on a hill overlooking Sinclair Inlet and the majestic Olympic Mountains. We are downtown Port Orchard, so restaurants and a myriad of cute shops are just steps away, as is the the lovely waterfront. You'll have the house to yourself to relax in the serenity you deserve. You can get to and from Port Orchard by ferry from Seattle, so a getaway with no car is doable!

Burke Bay A-Frame Retreat w/Cedar Hot Tub

Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Just 15 min to Bremerton-Seattle ferry!

Perfect base camp for your visit to the Olympic Peninsula! Close to great hiking in the Olympic National Park and surrounding (access Staircase, Mt. Ellinor, Hama Hama, Lena Lake, Duckabush, etc.). Great diving, fishing, and kayaking, too. Steps from restaurants, gift shops, a local distillery, and coffee shop in Hoodsport.

Enjoy a separate entrance to your private studio through the shared garage. You'll stay in a great location, situated between the old historic mill town of Pt. Gamble and the City of Poulsbo, known as "Little Norway." Both towns are on Puget Sound with cute shops. Many people also come to enjoy the Mts. It is not in any town but near several. Kiana Lodge is a 3 minute walk from the cabin. Two ferry terminals (Kingston/Edmonds and Bainbridge/Seattle routes) are 20 minutes away. It is centrally located near Poulsbo, Suquamish, Kingston and Bainbridge Island.
