The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

The sandy north-coast surfing beaches, Port Issac, Tintagel, Eden project an easy drive away. A tranquil retreat awaits on return.

Church View Cottage is a beautiful house right next door to our home, The Old Rectory, Rame, Cornwall and opposite the ancient Rame Church of St Germanus. We are close to the beautiful wedding venue of Polhawn Fort, five minutes by car 15 minutes walk along the lanes. We are only two miles from Mount Edgcumbe and a mile from the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. We are three minutes walk from the coast path. Cowslip Cottage is a traditional 19th Century stone property at Botelet Farm. The garden is surrounded by a patchwork of meadows, with far reaching views down the valley towards Fowey and up to the iron age hill fort of Bury Down. The Tamblyn family have farmed, nurtured & styled the farm for 159 years, three generations live here today. Therapeutic massage available in our on-site treatment room.
