Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home, including a very comfortable Sealy memory foam king mattress. There is a big Ingles and several restaurants nearby. Chimney Rock and the lake (Lake Lure) are under repair and closed for the season. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.

Welcome to our lakehouse on Bald Mountain Lake, located at Rumbling Bald Resort. We provide a dock, Sea Eagle boat with electric motor, 2 SUPs and 2 kayaks. Home has a fireplace and hot-tub. Large, flat back yard with fire-pit. We provide firewood. Resort amenities include 2 golf courses, restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna.

Black Mountain Cottage

Our recently built Mountain cottage is located within very close walkin distance to nearby Lake Tomahawk, downtown Black Mountain, Montreat and within a 15 minute drive of the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville. Please do not ask to bring a Pet. This is a Pet free property. We do not allow pets of any size or type.
