Come and stay in our family’s beautiful river side vacation home! With views of the water from the front porch and the quiet peaceful surroundings this home is sure to be perfect for anyone wanting to go fishing on their boat, hunting, or enjoy a family vacation. There is a private neighborhood boat ramp available right out front and the home does have a backup generator, large front and back porches, large living area with plenty of seating and a large laundry room great for storing any extras!

And with a short ferry ride, you can get to the Aurora Fossil Museum where you can hunt for sharks teeth and other fossils.

Gatekeeper’s Cottage at Chinaberry Grove

Fresh air, open skies and a lot of space. A place where children can run and adults can play ride bikes and take long walks. Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge and six other wildlife refuges are located within an easy drive. Our community of Terra Ceia is located in the center of the historic towns of Belhaven, Bath, Plymouth and Washington. A day trip to the Atlantic Ocean is easy as the cottage is approximately ninety miles to beaches both north and south.

Pamlico River is a short drive as is Goose Creek state park. 2 public boat docks within 10 minutes from the house, bring your boat and enjoy the Pamlico River.
