Little Bear Studio/Den is part of a house located at Little Bear Farm, an 8 acre private property with a large yard and field for romping with a dog, sledding, or walking around our pond and fields. Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. A great way to experience "glamping" where stunning nature meets modern luxuries. Located on 30 acres with the comforts of electricity, mini fridge, heat, WiFi, and cooking accommodations. Bathroom is only 30 yard walk. Sleeping space for 2 adults only. 1-2 small kids may be allowed with preapproval. AWD/4-wheel drive recommended December-March in case of snow.

The "Hut" in Banner Elk NC

The "Hut" is less than one mile from the red light in downtown Banner Elk. Only a fifteen minute walk or less than two minute drive will put you in the heart of this quaint little town. Less than half a mile to the local brewery and only a ten minute walk to the town park. The owners are on premises and very attentive to the needs of their guests. Those interested in hosting parties should look for other accommodations. Strict no pet policy. The space will only accommodate two guests.

Welcome to our home!!! We are a half-mile from great skiing at Beech Mountain Resort which also has snow tubing, snowboarding, downhill and cross country skiing, and ice skating. And that's just winter activities!!! In the summer there are countless hiking trails, fishing, nearby tourist attractions and almost any activity you can think of! A fire pit has been finished and there is kindling and wood available at no cost. There is a separate freezer in the storage room that guests may use.

Beautiful views of sunrises, hump mountain, banner elk, and beech mountain. The kitchen & living area features tall ceilings but *please note* the bathroom and closet ceiling height is shortened to about 6 ft to make room for the loft bedroom above.
