A gorgeous Private Guest House, Two bedrooms, a large bathroom with laundry, fully equiped kitchen and log fire in living area. EXPERIENCE - 2 min walk from the centre of Balnarring where cafes, restaurants, pub a brewery and a new IGA are on your doorstep, 2 min drive to Balnarring Beach close to wineries this modern light studio provides the perfect base to go exploring around the Mornington Peninsula.

The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Casa Frida Studio Moonlight cinema & pool

As you enter the ivy-covered Balinese gates, be prepared to be transported into another world! Also be prepared to walk the steps to the top. (70m incline) The view from the studio comes at a price and if you are prepared to walk the steps.... there's enormous gain when you reach the top. We have created a little tribute to our favorite places - Indonesia, Morocco, Spain and Mexico. If you are after a 5-star hotel stay - we don't recommend our property - Come for the experience of Casa Frida!

Reverse cycle A/C and electric fire place in lounge room with award winning sofa bed, a separate bedroom with king bed (electric blankets organic linen/cotton sheets) fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with spa bath, shower, 6 ft fenced private courtyard, bbq, outdoor setting and secured for pets. 30 minute beach walk to Main Street. No shared areas.

Somers Dunescape with Fireplace and Pool Table

A roaring open fire place for you to enjoy during winter and electric blankets on every bed except top bunks! A great place to stay for graduating HMAS families. Set on a charming, very quiet and private property at the end of a cul-de-sac only 4 mins to Woolworths supermarket and 10 mins from the beach and Mornington Main St. The property has beautiful views of the Balcombe Creek pristine bushland and all of the Mornington Peninsula wineries, natural parks and attractions are at your door step.

Blending modern, French & farmhouse influences, our tucked-away slice of heaven captures the best of the wine region. With remnant forest surrounds, a solar-heated pool & proximity to Merricks beach (6 mins), everything is here to help you unwind. It has a country style kitchen with Coonara fireplace, two living areas and is ideally suited to four people, although it can accommodate up to five people This is a cat and dog friendly property. Quirky two bedroom Nissan Hut conversion set amongst the tee trees and driftwood, just a 2 minute walk along a sandy track to Balnarring Beach. Wood fire heater, reverse cycle air conditioning, outdoor deck and BBQ, indoor/outdoor shower, towels and linen provided. NO Wifi encourages guests to get outdoors and explore the surrounding area.
