Timberwood Tiny Home

Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Entire country home on 1 acre! Peaceful area!

Relax in this cozy home, located right inside Caswell county on 1 acre. Outdoor fire pit, covered carport, back patio & front porch with rockers. Perfect for a get away in a quiet area. 25 minutes from Greensboro, Eden, Reidsville downtown (17 mins), & Burlington. Enjoy watching the chickens, roosters, and turkeys in the area (there’s a chance a chicken will end up in the backyard!) & relax in the simple slow paced country life. Equipped with everything you should need during your entire stay!

Enjoy nature on our large deck with ample patio furniture and a jacuzzi. Our 30 acre property has trails through the meadows, a pond, and creek and is a perfect view into tiny living! Stylish 1920s historic home one and a half blocks from the adorable downtown Graham. Short walk to breweries, restaurants, coffee shops and minutes from Elon University, Labcorp and Tanger Outlets. Our home is a great central location situated between Chapel Hill and Greensboro and minutes from hiking and kayaking locations on the Haw River. Plush linens, mattresses, and stocked with amazing bath soaps. This is the perfect location for exploring North Carolina’s Piedmont region!

Fortress of Solitude

Want to get away? Fortress of Solitude is a modernist house on 30 acres. Relax on the porches listening to birdsong. The fortress was built in 2007 as a vacation home. Passive solar design features include concrete walls and many windows. The style of the fortress is a call back to old NC tobacco barns. Surrounded by forest with no neighbors in sight, this home has excellent privacy and a half mile long driveway. Gratitude to all guests who stayed during our 1st year!

The Cain Cabin, Wheelchair Accessible Lakeside

Escape to the peaceful Cain Cabin, a wheelchair-accessible retreat nestled on the tranquil shores of S.R. Farmer Lake. Ideal for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and those simply looking to unwind. This secluded cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. Despite the serene, rural location, you'll find a wide variety of nearby activities and attractions including casinos and raceways, hiking trails, fishing spots, game lands, wineries, and craft breweries.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
