Banks Valley Guest Ranch - 1 Bed/1Ba Guest house

Guest Cabin on top of a hill overlooking our working cattle ranch. The cabin is updated and clean and fully stocked with everything you need to spend one night or a whole month. The completely private space includes cable and internet as well as a washer and dryer. The 600 acre ranch has fishing ponds and hiking trails which our guests are welcome to enjoy. There are no events or parties allowed in the guest cabin. You are welcome to host your family for a BBQ or meal if they are local.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is away from the city noises and close to fishing and hunting areas. We are close to several boat ramps, but Arrowhead State Park is the closest. If you have a boat trailer you will have plenty of room to maneuver and park. Enjoy viewing the birdlife, you will see lots of activity around the feeders. In the summer you will enjoy seeing fireflies at dusk. The kids will feel like they have their own little space in the loft bedroom.

Sage Cottage is located in the beautiful Pottawatomie County in our own Oaklore Forest. The cottage sleeps two on our queen size bed, Has a mini-kitchen and 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. Enjoy the firepit and outdoor shower. Kayaks are included. You will have easy access to the pond and river. Seeing elk and bald eagle are common. Mushroom foraging in the spring. We have designed this space to feel cozy and homey with the earth tone decor and modern rustic style. Everyone visited this site during it's preparation, from visiting friends to the electricians, plumbers and others, fell in love with it. Many joked that this is where they wanted to stay if they got in the "dog house" with their wife; hence the nickname that stuck.
