Back in 1930, after leaving Dragove to work in New York , grandpa Mate built a beautiful house opposite the old one in harmony with nature surroundings. Almost 90 years later we’re following the very same path of grandpa Mate by retaining the originality of the house and combining it with modern retro comfort. Grandpa Mate House is based on Dugi Otok at the edge of the village Dragove. The house was restored in 2017.

Apartments are located only 700m from the 2 km long sandy beach, one of the most beautiful in Croatia. The beach is great for families with small children because the water is very shallow. Those who prefer swimming and relaxing on the rocky and gravely beaches with deep sea will find the ideal place for themselves on only 5-10 minutes drive.
