The Island of Pag has the most indented coast of all the islands in the Adriatic Sea (270 km) and 84 km of the coast are gravel & sand beaches. The access to the island is via a ferry (Prizna - Zigljen line) or the bridge (bridge of Pag). Average monthly temperature from May to September is above 20°C. The richness of the aromatic plants - and herbs with healing properties - which grow on the island give the local food (like sheep's cheese or lamb) a unique flavour. Local industries are collecting and processing sea-salt and lace-making. The island also boasts scientifically-acknowledged healing mud. The city of Pag is the oldest town on the island (on 30th March.1244, Bela IV granted it a charter to confirm its free royal status). The town itself has 20 km of sand beaches. The city beach is ideal for sport & fun and it is appropriate & safe for children. Near the beach there are also restaurants and cafés. We rent apartments in city of Pag. our house is located in a quiet part of town, about 300 meters from the sea. This is apartment on the first floor in our house: with kitchen, bedroom/living room and bathroom. It's 20 meters from the sea and beach. There are concrete, rocky and pebble beaches around, and we have our own beach! You’ll love my place: clean sea, beautiful view on Pag, green garden. It is great for couples, bikers and families. It has a variety of one day destinations to visit within 1 hour drive. Karlobag is the closest town, 4.5 km or 10 min away; Zadar is 1.5 hour, Senj is 1 hour from us.
