The cottage is centrally located on Chandos Lake, just 2.5 hours from Toronto and 15 minutes away from the quaint town of Apsley. In the summer, dive off the brand new dock into deep water or ease into shallow sandy waters on the custom stone staircase. Perfect for swimmers of all ages and abilities. In the winter, spend a cosy day indoors or enjoy time outdoors. Two cross country ski/snowshoe locales—Kawartha Nordic Ski Club and Silent Lake Provincial Park—are within a half-hour drive.

Welcome to The Squirrel Away! We have a 3 bedroom cottage on quiet and peaceful Jordan Lake. Suitable for 4 Adults and 3 kids or 6 adults. It is heated by woodstove for that authentic cottage feel. Wood, x-country skis, snow shoes, and drilled well. There are 3 Kingsdown Queen sized beds with one having a single on top.

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.
