Breweries, art galleries, restaurants are close by. You can walk or bike to the 93 mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail from our home. Our shed is available for storing your bikes, kayaks or skis.

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Set on bucolic backroads, looking out towards Stowe, the little Farmhouse is a Vermont country paradise. Starting in 2026, we will be building a home adjacent to the farmhouse. The property might be a bit of a construction project in the Spring and through the Summer. *Read the “rules” section if you plan to bring a dog :) .

We have lived on our homestead at the end of a dirt road in Northern Vermont for 50 years. Here we grow and raise +/-90% of our own food. We have beautiful gardens, a 200 acre woods (with trails) and many farm animals for you to visit. It is peaceful and quiet here. The cottage is next door to our house and workshop but you will have plenty of privacy.
