A 5 minutes' walk down to the town's restaurants, pubs & shops, and good transport links to Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Derby. Walkers can explore the High Peak Trail directly from the cottage.

The Wee House on the Hill is a perfect retreat for a relaxing get away. Country walks straight from the door or a short stroll down into Wirksworth, an ancient market town steeped in history.
