Self contained cottage surrounded by amazing bird life, kangaroos, emus, echidna, wallabies and deer. Country life with all the comforts. Homemade bread, farm eggs, mulberry jam / butter , teas / coffee, milk are all provided for guests to make breakfast at their leisure. Cooking oils and condiments, assorted teas/coffee/milo, Anzac biscuits and access to cottage herb garden.

The 300 acre property shares a 2.5km border with the Grampians National Park and backs onto the stunning western escarpment of the Mt. Difficult Range. Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

Leura Log Cabin is located 4 mins from Warracknabeal in the bush. You’ll love the ambience, night sky and wildlife. The cabin features an open fire, queen sized bed, reverse cycle heating and cooling and WIFI. A private bathroom/toilet are located outside - 10 meters from the front door. Enjoy an evening BBQ by the fire pit under a starry sky. Leura is in close proximity to Brim - Sheep Hills silos. We provide a continental breakfast inside the cabin.

Kayak the clear water, try your hand at catching a fish or wander the dirt track to explore and be captivated by the bush.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located house. Swampgum Rise is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.
