This studio is attached to our home, although it's completely separate and you'll have complete privacy.

The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Featuring a private and seperate space with a Super King bedroom, bathroom, laundry and seperate lounge with TV and kitchenette. Situated on a farmlet with cattle and sheep, you will love the country feel that is peaceful and quiet (with no street lights to keep you awake!), yet only minutes to shops, restaurants and amenities.

Pukeko Refuge

This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Kick back and relax in this quiet, calm, stylish space. Self-contained and removed from the main house. Enjoy rural New Zealand at its best. No loud traffic noise, just hens quietly clucking, the occasional baa of sheep or a farm dog doing its work. Yet you're only 15 minutes from the city of Whangarei with its cafes and restaurants, the world-famous Hundertwasser Museum, the Clapham Clock Museum and the fantastic range of boutique shops and food outlets at the Town Basin.

A short drive from Whangarei, this modern cottage is set within an avocado orchard. It is sunny, warm and quiet, providing a calm and relaxing environment away from the urban hustle. The cottage is fully self-contained and suitable for short or longer term stays. It is ideally situated for day trips to the Kauri forests near Dargaville and to Northland's stunning Bay of Islands and further north. Day trips to nearby beaches are a must, particularly in the warmer months.

Our tank water is filtered and ready to drink from the tap.
