Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Feel free to wave out to them if they drive past in their tractors.

Relax and unwind to the sound of birds in the trees, sheep moving through the paddocks and a little family of Quails strolling by every now and again while breathing in the fresh country air. We are located 11 minutes to Otorohanga where you will find numerous Cafes, Restaurants and eating places. Also the Kiwi House is worth a look along with the Sir Edmund Hilary walkway. Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Black Water Rafting and the Ruakuri Bush Walk is a short 20 minute drive away.

Painted Skies - Country Guest House

'Painted Skies' is a modern two bedroom guest house situated on our 20 acre lifestyle block 3km from the Te Kuiti township in the heart of the King Country. Located beside the main house you have your own access and outdoor area. In summer there is the family pool for you to use too. This property is private, surrounded by trees and farmland. We are also located along the Te Araroa track an ideal place to stop between Waitomo and Pureora Forest.

Escape to tranquility. A peaceful rural surrounding, two minute drive to Otorohanga the Kiwiana capital of New Zealand and the gateway to Waitomo and it's many attractions. Stay two nights and explore the region? Centrally located to a host of areas. Hobbiton, Matamata, Raglan, Marokopa falls, Kawhia where you can dig a hot pool in low tide, all less than an 1 hours drive away.

Only open in the summer months. A separate private unit with access via the garage of the main house, a private room with queen size bed with En-suite facilities.
