Relax & enjoy beach views from this one bedroom accommodation at a stunning beach. A great base to discover the beauty of the Coromandel. Wake up to ocean views and pop across to the sand. Easy for low-tide hot pools. Bliss! Don't feel like cooking? Then walk meters to Hotties Eatery/Bar or Hot Waves Cafe Linen/towels provided. Sorry, no animals/smoking or camping allowed. Cleaning fee includes quality linen fee NOTE: approx mid Jan - there’ll be a house construction on neighbouring property.

Palms Retreat

Spend a relaxing peaceful stay at our self-contained studio at beautiful Kuaotunu. The studio is separate from the main house and has it's own outdoor patio. Kuaotunu beach is only 2 minutes walk away and even in summer never gets crowded. 10 mins walk to the Kuaotunu village where you will find the famous Luke's Kitchen restaurant, Kua Kawhe Cafe and the well stocked general store. And not forgetting the local ice cream store! Large reserve, Tennis courts and Petanque court are right next door.

The Sleepout

Tidy modern sleep out with private bathroom, shower, bedroom, kitchenette, Facility has microwave, small bbq. Off Street parking. Quiet location with a short walk for elevated views over Mercury Bay, Whitianga Harbour, Flaxmill Bay, Shakespears Cliff and Cooks Beach. Six minute drive to the centre of town, close enough to enjoy the local attractions of Whitianga and surrounding Coromandel. Take a short walk to take in the views over Wharekaho beach or follow the paths to take you to the beach.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Freshly renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. Wharekaho (Simpsons Beach) - 5 Mins to Whitianga

Our super cute coastal home offers comfort and tranquillity - summer or winter! Enjoy spectacular ocean views and also lush farmland. Explore the walks, beaches and scenery that Coromandel has to offer, or snuggle up indoors with our movies, books and games. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a hoiday meal - a range of appliances, pantry basics and condiments. Simpsons beach is just across the road, and Whitianga’s shops, cafes, and restaurants are just a 5-minute drive away.

Quail Cottage

A beautiful loft-style cottage on a private property only moments from Cooks Beach. Take in the serenity of this coastal Hamptons style space, complete with a kitchenette, ensuite, lounge area and private deck. Here you can relax and enjoy a drink overlooking the landscaped gardens, with only the native quail birdsong and ocean waves to be heard. Set in a quiet location, local restaurants, convenience stores, tennis courts and nature reserves are all within an easy walking distance.

Walking distance to Brophy's Beach, estuary, boat-ramp, BBQ, playground and popular coffee cart. Easy biking or walking into town and centrally located to access the best of the Coromandel!

Studio with a View

Our Studio room opens onto a paved terrace with views over the ocean. The studio is well equipped with kitchenette, table & chairs, armchairs, separate shower & bathroom, separate toilet. There is a barbecue for cooking and an outside covered space. We supply a simple breakfast of muesli, yoghurt and milk. If you are dairy free and require something different please let me know. The pool and spa overlook the ocean and have amazing views.

Ocean Cliff Court - Stunning Ocean Views

Ocean Cliff Court overlooks the stunning Blackjack Reef which is 15 minutes’ drive north of Whitianga. This 2 bedroom house was completed in 2017 and can accommodate up to 6 adults - there are 2 Queen beds and a fold out couch. It has a large deck with outdoor furniture and sea views. Located on a beautiful 1 acre property above Kuaotunu Village which is only 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, local pizzeria, cafe and shop.

Bush studio apartment

Self-contained apartment in a unique, artist-designed house: a beautiful studio with lovely new bathroom, situated in the hills above Kuaotunu, surrounded by NZ native forest. Enjoy sitting on the deck, under giant fern trees, listening to birdsong and the gurgling of the stream. If you're lucky you'll even hear our resident Kiwi calling! A place to relax and recharge only 3 minutes drive to Kuaotunu village and beach.

*pool access upon request* A private & modern room + en-suite seperate to the main house built in 2020 in a new subdivision. 15 minutes pathed walkway to Simpson’s beach (our favourite) , 6 minutes drive to Whitianga. On street car parking available, with private access seperate from house. Small outdoor deck with a private fence with a rural outlook. DUE TO HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS THERE IS NO POOL ACCESS.
