Historic Bonanza Inn Room 2 in Virginia City

This building was constructed in 1866 and served as the county courthouse when Virginia City was the territorial capital of Montana. Once the present courthouse replaced this one, 3 Catholic Sisters of Charity from Leavenworth, Kansas used the building to open St. Mary's Hospital for miners. The hospital briefly prospered before the placer gold was exhausted in. In 1940 Mr. Bovey remodeled the interior as a hotel but little has changed on the exterior from the eighteen seventies.

The kitchen has all basic cutlery with a nice selection of regular and decaf coffee. A flat screen television with premium channels and complimentary wifi is provided. This suite is part of The Lamplighter Cabins & Suites and we are locally owned and operated.

This rustically beautiful two-bedroom King Suite has all the comforts of home. With a fully equipped kitchen, a large luxurious bathroom, and a spacious, yet cozy floor plan. Enjoy the richness of a king bed in one bedroom and a queen bed with a queen-size sofa bed in the other. This unit is sure to have everything needed to make your stay perfect! This is a pet free home. You will be charged a $1000 fine if you bring a pet into this home.
