Abbey View Cottage

Abbey view is a hidden gem, situated on Bagdale. The cottage is a short walking distance from the centre of Whitby with restaurants, cafes and pubs on hand. The cottage itself is split over three levels and as per the namesake, the property boasts views of the Abbey from the lounge balcony. The bi-fold doors lead to the balcony which is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. Although recently renovated, Abbey View retains its original charm with beautiful furnishings throughout.

Enjoy a relaxing break exploring the delightful cobbled streets, shopping in the beautiful quaint gift shops, and savouring the historic treats of Whitby. There are miles of amazing beaches and coastal paths to wander along and plenty of cafes and bars to quench your thirst in. The self-contained apartment is spacious and well-equipped containing a bathroom, comfortable double bedroom and lounge/diner including a sofa-bed with large bay window with Abbey views. Beautifully converted, airy hideaway near Whitby

Sleights is a gem of a village on the outskirts of Whitby and at the foothills of the Moors. You will stay in a beautiful airy converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa (there are steps leading down into the garden - may not be suitable for those with limited mobility). Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Hideaway with their own outside area. They can relax on the luxury Simba mattress that promises a good nights rest after a busy day.

Private entrance, sleeps maximum 4 people: 2 people in main bedroom with one double bed and 2 people in one smaller room with one double bed. Please note sofas in the lounge are NOT sofa beds. Grade II Listed, near 199 Steps, Tate Beach and with a fabulous view out onto the cobbles of historic Church Street. Perfect for Winter weekends with a real fire available from October to April. Great in Summer for getting out to explore all that Whitby and its surrounding area has to offer.
