Cartlodge inspired accommodation

The Forge is set in the countryside of Tendring, a 6 minute journey by car to the beach Clacton On Sea. We have always been inspired by Tiny houses so we created our own compact bijou, a warm open space building that can sustain a 2 meter foot print set in the grounds of our country cottage. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and is completely new inside & out with light soft furnishings and a contemporary floral design bed linen to help you relax and enjoy a good night's sleep.

Recently undergone complete modernisation. Contemporary one bed annex with off road parking. ground floor building with private access. Fully furnished and equipped for two people. However there is a sofa bed in the living room so it can accommodate up to 4 people for a shorter trip. Ideal for weekend break or people looking for longer term trips for business, offering great long term discounts. Convenient location to shops, pubs and country walks and beach all within fifteen minute walk.

Stylish Pin Mill Boathouse - Stunning River Views

The Blackhouse Boatshed is a stylish new small house boasting stunning panoramic views over the boatbuilding and sailing hamlet of Pin Mill and the famous Butt and Oyster pub. Designed and built by local architects and craftspeople, the house is a perfect base for couples, close to the waterfront and in the heart of beautiful Suffolk countryside. There is a fantastic choice of walks, cycling, and horse rides, as well as opportunities to get onto or into the water or stay in and be cosy.

Walkable to the local village of Thorpe Le Soken with its 3 pubs. Wake up to beautiful countryside views from your double bed with luxury linen bedding.

Country view annex

Forget your worries in this calm space. Our annex is detached from the main house and you have the run of the whole place. Set on 1/2 acre of land in the sweet countryside of Tendring Village with lovely farmland views. There is parking on a large drive. Please enjoy our spacious green garden where our chickens roam free. There's lots of walk’s nearby, including beaches just 15-20 mins drive. There is 1 large bedroom with double bed, with 3 small folding beds available on request.

Bijou cabin next to the sea

The cabin lies in the grounds of the hosts main dwelling which is situated within 200 yards of Frinton's spectacular greensward and beautiful sandy beaches. The cabin is within a very leisurely 10-15 mins walk to the facilities of both Frinton and Walton where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, eating establishments and entertainment. Further afield and depending on your interests there are many other outstanding places to visit which I'd be only too happy to discuss with you.

Self Contained Studio in Wivenhoe

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Large spacious lounge with ample seating, dining table, TV, DVD player & WiFi. Selection of DVDs, games & books. Off street free parking.

Located in a quiet village on the Essex/Suffolk border, this converted rustic barn is a stylish family friendly bolthole. Within easy reach of the picturesque Stour valley, the barn is perfect for family stays in need of space and tranquil countryside adventures. Stunning static caravan in the heart of Essex

Weeley Bridge Caravan Park Weeley Clacton on Sea CO16 9DH Quiet holiday park, fishing lake, evening entertainment, outdoor swimming pool (May-September depending on weather). Passes are needed for above, see reception for prices. 2 well behaved dogs allowed £25 per stay, please add to your booking. Please bring throws and towels. Please keep on lead and clear up any mess. Cats not allowed. Clacton-on-Sea - 15 min drive.
