Nestled high in the whispering tree tops, deep in the midst of a private valley surrounded by ancient medieaval oak woodland planted to build the Cornish ships of old. As the deer sup from the babbling brook and the songbirds chirrup their enamouring call around you lies "Tresillian Lodge". Sit on the balcony and let time pass you by. Watch the sunrise and set from your private hot tub as you gaze over the rolling fields. Hewn from the very oak of the woodland itself. Built in a bespoke design with oak arched vaulted ceilings, oak parquet flooring it feels as if you are one with the very woods that you are ensconsed in. There is no sound but nature. With woodland walks in all directions, access is available to the stream and paddock where the lambs frolick. It is a mere 20 minutes to the soft, warm and cosetting South coast of the Roseland peninsula, and little more to reach the rugged Atlantic on the North. A surfers paradise Only 10 minutes into the centre of Truro. You've got it all.! There is a sauna on site available by appointment. All linen and furnishings are of the finest quality. Kate my house manager (a true Cornish Maid!) will be available to offer her local knowledge wherever it may be needed to assist you with excursions, dining and secret places to visit. She will also be available for any queries to do with the lodge and will run through everything upon your arrival to give you the warmest of Kernow welcomes! The lodge lies 1 km down a single track lane which can at certain times of year get quite bumpy. So low slung sports cars are not to be advised. There are no near neighbours apart from the mediaeval mill some distance away. This means that you and your party will have the utmost privacy, and discretion is guaranteed. There are several local pubs in the vicinty including 2 on the waterfront. They are all walkable depending on how energetic one feels. There is nothing better to put on your walking boots and stride off over the undulating hills and feel the Cornish breeze upon your face, or stroll down the Fal estuary to see where the great Tresillian docks and quays once were. Perhaps head to St Mawes and take the ferry across to Falmouth for an afternoon's shopping and lunch, and treat yourself to a private water taxi to bring you home. Bambu Cottage

Beautiful, newly restored Fisherman’s Cottage. Set in the oldest road in Newquay, 500m above the beaches and harbour. Bambu Cottage is nestled in a private road with no through traffic,creating a peaceful haven yet admidst the trendy bars, restaurants and shops and all Newquay has to offer. Perfect for families, surfers or a romantic break. A few minutes stroll down the slope to the beaches or a 5 min walk to the world famous surfing beach at Fistral. The designers have created a Boho Beach Theme throughout with every attention to detail creating a luxurious calm ambience. Bambu offers comfort and cosiness with wood burning stove for colder nights, WiFi, Netflix, Prime video and Amazon Echo. The bedrooms have super king and king sized beds and the wet room also contains a luxury free standing bath.

Idyllic retreat just metres from Porthilly beach

Just metres from Porthilly Beach on the stunning Camel Estuary, aptly named 'Little Tides' is a beautifully converted barn. The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

Newquay, Lusty Glaze.

Situated in a quiet close just minutes away from the award winning Lusty Glaze beach. Our two bedroom house has been decorated and finished to a high standard throughout. It has a light and airy feel inside and has been newly furnished for your comfort. The house sleeps 4 people with the option of using a sofa bed in the second bedroom for a 5th person. Both bedrooms have zip and link 3ft single beds or superking. There is a fully enclosed garden and one allocated parking space directly outside.

Seaview coastal home (5ppl) beaches 3min walk.

The ocean view speaks for itself 🌅. With two beaches a 3-minute walk (Porth & Lusty Glaze), and many more a little way further, you can leave the car on the drive. The South West Coast path is right here too (1-min walk), if you fancy stretching those legs! It's so quiet around here you'll forget you're a 15-minute walk from Newquay town centre, and only a 8-minute drive to Fistral Beach. It's a perfect spot for families & couples. We sleep up to 5 guests (and any four-legged family members).
