A detached cottage set in four acres enjoying a secluded position on the edge of the Exmoor National Park. The medieval village of Dunster is a 10 minute stroll away with pubs, restaurants, small shops, tea rooms and Dunster Castle (NT). The area is ideal for woodland, coastal and moorland walks. Minehead is a few miles away with its beach, shops, golf course and steam railway. The owners live in the adjacent cottage and are pleased to welcome you and be of any help during your stay.

There is a well fitted kitchen, utility and large Conservatory. Our dog friendly cottage sits 100 metres from the lane, where parking is available. Ancient beech, ash and oak woodland rise to the Iron Age fort on Danesborough hill. Whortleberries abound in Summer on the bracken and heather covered slopes. The coast is a 15 minute drive or an hours gentle walk to Kilve. Need more room? Then try its neighbour, and big sister, 'Gorgeous Quantock House'.

1 Coastguard Cottages is one of a terrace of five Grade 2 listed houses built in 1877 for the Admiralty. It is situated on the edge of Minehead bay with panoramic views over the Bristol Channel to the islands of Steepholm and Flatholm and the Welsh coastline. It is just steps from the start of the South West Coast Path and a perfect location for a family holiday. Walks from the front door give quick access to the Exmoor National Park on North Hill.
