Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

Sway gently in the trees and relax in your unique 12 X 24' (288 sq ft) studio treehouse with what one recent guest stated as "a stunning view of the Chugach Mountains!" The Treehouse offers Alaska glamping at its finest for quiet and relaxation. You may sit around your own covered fire pit (wind and burn restrictions permitting) as well as enjoy your own wood burning stove. No cleaning fee! Note: Guests must be able to climb a short, steep incline, then 20 steps of varying heights.

There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Gooding Lake has a small sandy beach and float plane access. The canoe & kayaks are free to use.. Guests must walk up a full flight of steps.

Venture to Hatcher's pass for picturesque hikes or to the Iditarod headquarters to mush with the huskies. There are many lakes nearby, fine cuisine, parks and other entertainment.
