This cosy cottage lies in the middle of the hamlet of Hulme End, which is criss-crossed with footpaths and streams. The converted barn is at the head of the Manifold Valley's 8 mile long walk/cycle track. Opposite, there's a café & visitor's centre, & it's close to a well-loved, family & dog friendly pub. Nearby Hartington is a pretty, well appointed village, & there are many of the Peak District's best attractions and towns, each with their individual characteristics, within a short drive.

Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is a delightful hideaway in the lovely hamlet of Elkstones in the Peak District. Affording a little taste of country living with views over 'The Secret Valley' being enjoyed from the outside seating area.Enjoy waking up to the sound of a wood pecker and falling asleep to the hooting of an owl. A perfect tucked away escape located in the stunning Peak District. A traditional Shepherd's Hut set on the edge of a large open field with rolling views of the countryside. A very secluded spot, pure escapism! Quirky & unique perfect to unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The hut sleeps two in a double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.
