Comfortable Kitchen

Our house was originally built in 1910. My husband and I have spent the past 10 yrs renovating from the inside out to create a simple and comfortable apartment experience. Whether looking for an easy transition or a comfortable extended stay, our month to month concept allows for flexibility and peace of mind. The outside still needs work but we strive to keep a clean and quiet environment. Being on a main street and close to the city allows for easy travel times anywhere inside the I-465 loop.

Barb’s Bungalow: Charming Irvington 2 bedroom home

From the moment you walk in, this historic home (built in 1939) envelopes you with its charm. Enjoy Original hardwoods, two bedrooms (one with a king, the other, a queen size bed), three smart TV’s, broadband WIFI and a fully equipped kitchen to make those amazing dinners you can enjoy in the dining room or breakfast nook! Washer and dryer in basement. Fireplace is NOT useable-just for show! Security features include ADT, ring & keypad entry. Close to park, hospital & interstate.

Enjoy Comfort & History! - Suite w/ Private Entry

We look forward to welcoming you to a private suite that is the guest quarters in our home. You’ll have a private entrance & 3 rooms to yourself. There’s a living room with a table and chairs, a bedroom with a queen-size bed - nightstands, dresser and closet space with hangers for your use - and a newly remodeled full bathroom. There’s also a kitchenette in the hallway which is an antique Hoosier Cabinet equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot, and hot water pot.

Private Irvington Carriage House

This spacious, newly renovated carriage house comfortably sleeps 4-5. Private entrance leads to a meticulously cleaned, peaceful abode- only 10 minutes to downtown Indy!! Enjoy walks with a cup of coffee to take in all of Historic Irvington, or simply relax in this quiet retreat and enjoy the only table shuffleboard in a private rental in all of Indianapolis! A fully stocked kitchen allows for longer stays. We offer no-contact check-in, but we are nearby to help out if needed.

Curl up with a cup of tea and a good book, sit on the patio and watch for deer, or take a walk around our fledgling 9-acre permaculture farm.

Welcome to the Indy Outback! A centrally located 10-unit building walking distance of downtown hotspots - Mass Ave, The Garage, Centerpoint Brewery, Fowling Warehouse, and Pins Bowling. Private parking onsite for one vehicle. Our Sage Koala Apartment features a luxury king bed, blackout curtains, and a sound machine. Fully stocked kitchen including crockpot and blender. This is a one bedroom duplex with a living room, eat-in kitchen which is fully stocked, and another small lounging area in the basement. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Very close to public transportation, or a $10 to $20 Uber or Lyft to downtown and most attractions in the area. Restaurants, coffee shops, brewery all within walking distance. Persons of all backgrounds are welcome.

There is a fold out single cot and a fold out queen mattress available. Full kitchen, smart tv, washer/dryer, private security system and all the basics are all with this secluded home.
