We welcome you to Matakana Escape. This modern 2-bedroom unit is the perfect place for your escape, to relax and unwind. It features stunning rural views and is bathed in afternoon sun. The large deck is perfect for BBQ’s and the outdoor area provides lots of space for kids to play. Matakana Village and Market are a flat 1km walk away. Private stand alone unit on our lifestyle property, seperate from house. The unit is well equipped with everything you need. Linen and towels are provided.

Braemar Cottage - new, peaceful, stunning views!

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

Tranquil rural getaway

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Warkworth and Matakana, but with the Te Aroroa trial (500 metres) and countryside on your doorstep. Less than 10 mins to Warkworth, 15 mins to Matakana with its vineyards & markets, close to Omaha beach and the beautiful Tawharanui Peninsula. A great base to explore this incredible area and then relax after a busy day of hiking, beaching & enjoying the local hospitality.

Mangawhai / Te Arai - A Tranquil, Lush Getaway

Welcome to your getaway. An expansive, lush property bordered by a stream and native trees with an extensive garden where you are welcome to wander and sit. A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

Just a short drive away is the charming village of Matakana & beautiful Omaha Beach.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

66D is a brand new light cosy studio - relaxing and peaceful space! The studio is quiet and private, is attached to the main home...luxury decor with a comfy queen size bed, fully stocked kitchenette, a private separate entrance and car park. Suitable for couples and individuals. Outside seating on deck, nice glass of wine...perfect! A pleasant 3 min stroll to cinemas, cafes, bar and markets and 45 min drive from Auckland CBD.

The Puhoi Black Cottage

Eco-friendly tiny home on a private property. Features: private deck, fire pit, kitchenette (mini oven, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher), sofa bed, smart TV, Netflix, WiFi, spacious shower, filtered tank water. Breakfast ingredients, tea, coffee, milk, olive oil, eggs and honey supplied on arrival. Environmentally friendly products used. Less than 1km from Puhoi village.

The cosy cabins are less than an hour North of Auckland tucked away at the base of the Dome Valley reserve which is 5 minutes drive from Warkworth and 15 minutes to Matakana.
