Surrounded by fresh mountain air, and the sound of a rushing river you’ll be within walking distance of hiking trails, a mountain-top tramway, go carts, scenic lake views, miniature golf courses and the fun atmosphere of the Head of Wallowa Lake, considered the Alps of Oregon. A ten minute drive around the beautiful lake will take you to the charming shops, art galleries, and restaurants of downtown Joseph. There is no fence separating the properties, and the designated yard area for this home is limited to a small section closest to the house (approximately 6 feet out). We kindly ask guests to be respectful of the neighboring property and avoid using their yard space. A beautiful river runs near the property, creating a relaxing and natural backdrop to your stay. The home also features a small deck to take in the surroundings, though it is not equipped with a railing. For safety, we recommend close supervision of children at all times. Whether you’re hiking alpine trails, enjoying the lake, or simply relaxing in the mountain air, this area offers year-round adventure. Location Just minutes from downtown Joseph, a charming small town known for its art galleries, bronze sculptures, and welcoming local atmosphere. Explore local restaurants, breweries, and shops, or take a scenic drive through the Wallowa Valley. The Wallowa Lake Chalets are situated between Wallowa Lake and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. These Chalets have an open floor plan and were designed to encapsulate the natural surrounding beauty. The decks of the Chalets stand 26 ft above the ground creating some of the most surreal views that can be found anywhere in Wallowa County. The Chalets can be accessed by a ½ mile of rugged gravel road off of Wallowa Lake Hwy. The Chalets are about 8 min. from Joseph, OR. Follow us @wallowa_lake_chalets

Ruby Pines Vacation Yurt

Cozy yurt off the beaten path yet close to beautiful Wallowa Lake, the charming town of Joseph, and all the beauty the surrounding Wallowa Mountains have to offer. We are nestled in the pine forests about 5 miles from the towns of Joseph and Enterprise. This space is ideal for a peaceful getaway for a couple, a few friends, or a family with small children. The yurt shares a driveway with the hosts’ primary residence. Please respect the neighborhood and house rules and enjoy your stay!

This two-story 2000-square-foot lake house is perfect for a vacation getaway. With two bedrooms and a sleeping loft this home comfortably sleeps 8. Wake up to breathtaking views from the deck and dip your toes in the lake off the private dock. Downstairs is an open living/dining area that extends outside onto the covered deck overlooking Wallowa Lake. There is a fully functional kitchen as well as laundry room. The upper level has a sleeping loft with 3 beds and a master bedroom/bathroom.

Wallowa Lake is one of our favorite places to vacation with our kids and grandkids! We’ve spent countless valuable hours here and we are excited to share our favorite place with you and your family! Our home is comfortable for people of all ages. We bring our parents here and love that they have complete enjoyment of the full space inside and outside. They can sit on the deck & enjoy the family playing in the lake and get to be a part of the memories our kids and grandkids are making!

Close enough to walk to the resort activities at Wallowa Lake but not right in the middle of everything making this the perfect place for relaxation and privacy! Even though the Wallowa River is in earshot of the cabin, there is an area of natural grass giving the impression of a barrier which is perfect for those more timid littles to want to stay in the yard until you are ready to take them to the water. Cozy lil cabin meets all the needs of a little cabin in the woods vacation!
