Only a few minutes walk to many entertainment venues, museums, galleries, four live theaters, Coe College and many churches and restaurants. The building has been beautifully restored and offers a courtyard with a pool, flower gardens and a peaceful Koi pond. Laundry and a fully equipped gym are also included. Our secure building will feel like your home away from home!

Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.
