Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is AC unit. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children or pets to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room and sectiois not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee

Rural Cottage Retreat

We offer an entire self-contained unit with ample secure parking. The room is cozy and clean. You have your own private deck overlooking a rural setting. It's a 2 min drive to and from town (including a short stretch of gravel road), an hours drive to Lake Waikaremoana or 40 minutes to Mahia Beach for sun, surf and sand. Perfect spot if you're coming to town overnight for business or staying longer to enjoy the local environs, such as the mountain bike park, Morere Hot Springs.

Escape to the beach.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. No cell reception but all you'll need to relax. 5mins stroll to a great surfing and swimming beach. Plenty of space for tents, campervans and caravans. There is a bathroom with a toilet, vanity and hot shower. Please bring your own linen. If this is not possible let us know and we can sort some out. Pets are allowed, please specify when booking. The section is not fully fenced and any pets are not allowed on the furniture.

The house is on a large section with room to play, close to the local restaurants and within walking distance of the main street, and local shops. An easy drive to the beautiful Mahia beach or Lake Waikaremoana. Whether you are on a family holiday or a business trip, your stay will be relaxing and comfortable with all the trimmings of a home away from home.

Sleeps 2 - 8 (7+ if you plan on cuddling up) 2 bedrooms with king beds 1 bedroom with king single 1 bedroom with queen and king single Donga with a Queen To maintain the property and comply with house rules, we only accept bookings for work-related stays. Smoking, Vaping and Drinking all okay on the deck.

Relaxing benefits of country living with only 5 minutes to town. Spacious grounds and parking. Fully renovated inside. Polished wooden floors throughout. Insulated providing warm cosy feel. Enjoy rain water with ozone filter. The outside is all prepped for new paint. Currently with rustic appearance. The toilet is not in the bathroom in the house it is off the Laundry as per photo. It is a 3 metre walk under a covered verandah.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

‘The Don’ on Hillcrest

‘The Don’ is a 3 bedroom home that was relocated to Wairoa from O’Donnell Avenue in Mt Roskill, Auckland, in August 2022. It is owned by local Wairoa people who want to see more people visiting this beautiful part of the world. The house is sited on a ridge with a magnificent view down a valley towards the Wairoa township. It is situated in a quiet semi-rural area about 4 minutes drive to the town centre.

The Cottage

We offer guests a quiet getaway. The Cottage is on Waihua Station, a working sheep and beef farm on the coast of Hawkes Bay. Guests can stroll to the beach, walk the hills or kayak on the river . The Cottage sleeps four people and is fully self- contained.
